Audrey Boyd

Audrey grew up on a farm near Sandwith, Saskatchewan. Upon completion of High School she attended the Saskatoon Business College, then worked at Federated Co-opative Limited from 1966 until 2002.

In 1970 Rose Seabrook convinced Audrey to join her oil painting group. She painted with them for about two years. She took some folk art painting for several years and in 1992 she started water color painting with Pat Grove at the Canarama Hobby Centre. Audrey continued painting classes with her when Pat started the Prairie Palette Painters. Pat encouraged Audrey to join the Saskatchewan Wildlife Artists Association (SWAA).  She spent a few years serving as the Treasurer for the association and for the Reflections of Nature Art Show (sponsored by SWAA).

In addition to the water color painting Audrey also does acrylic painting, scratchboard and pastel painting. In the last several years Audrey has also taken classes in carving.
